Crude Pipeline Opportunity Assessment (Conducted for a Equity Investor & Gas Mid-Stream Company):
Assessment of crude production outlooks and access, refinery market analysis and crude demand, competitive systems and economics, allowable tariff recommendations, shipper targets and overall project economics and strategy. Included conversion of gas pipelines to crude service and new pipeline build.
Refinery Competition Study (Conducted for an Integrated Refining & Marketing Company):
Conducted a study of U.S. inland refineries to determine how relevant combinations of refineries compete in specific product markets. EAI, Inc. applied its Petroleum Supply-Market Decision System (PSMDS) and Crude Supply-Market Decision System (CSMDS) modeling process to evaluate crude slates, product yields and production economics for each plant and the integration of each plant downstream into specific product markets. Source-to-market supply cost curves were developed for a number of inland markets to evaluate relative refinery competitiveness.
North American-Global Distillate Market Outlook (Conducted for an Integrating Refining & Marketing Company.)
Conducted detailed market and competitive supply assessment of the North American distillate business including a global distillate market assessment to assess global market opportunities and price support. Market portion of the study examined specific terminal markets, values and product displacement markets and price clearing outlooks. Global market assessment included specific country market opportunities, netback outlooks, and distillate production specifications.
